Here are the steps for getting your much loved, tired old chesterfield sofas and chairs revived.

Step 1: Complete the form on the right of this page and send us photos of the piece(s) you want refurbished. Or you can email details to jsclassicfurniture@gmail.com.

Step 2: We will respond telling you what restoration works can achieved and giving you a quote for the restoration works and for collection and return delivery where necessary (if you want to arrange the transport to and from our workshop in North Notts you are very welcome to do so).
 

Step 3: We receive the piece(s) and after inspection tell you when we will have it ready for you.

Step 4: A standard refurbishment includes stripping back the leather to a stable base coat, degreasing any areas where grease has been absorbed into the leather, strengthening weakened leather, filling scuffs or scratches, repigmenting and finally sealing the leather with a gloss or matt finish (depending on the finish that is required). Missing or damaged buttons and castor wheels are also replaced.

We also repair worn through areas of leather, rips and damaged stitching and replace worn through cushion tops .

Step 5: We deliver the reconditioned chesterfield sofas or armchairs to you restored as you want them. There is a delivery charge of £1 per mile (one way mileage) but we ensure the piece(s) reach you safely and we’ll be happy to help you get the pieces inside to where you want them.
